International Color Quality Club Awards

 

Are you a newspaper or magazine publisher looking to improve the quality of your printing? Do you want to increase your competitiveness and motivate your personnel? If so, then the International Color Quality Club (ICQC) contest, organized by the World Printers Forum (WPF),  is the right pick for your publications.

The ICQC is the worldwide biennial quality competition for newspapers and magazines. Its goal is to improve the quality of reproduction and printing, while also increasing competitiveness as well as training and motivating all personnel.  it rewards winners who print according to international ISO 12647-3 standards for the newspaper manufacturing and printing industry.The ICQC contest enables publishers to compete with the international peers, compare and benchmark the print quality with peers.

Evaluation:

The evaluation is based on a set of ISO 12647-3 standards measured on the cuboid printed during contest period, which cover various technical aspects and process capability parameters like news shade, dot gain, color conformity, color space and grey balances. Additionally, the evaluation is also carried out by a panel of experts, who evaluate the visual print quality from the readers perspective, which covers general printing quality, such as printed color accuracy, image sharpness and contrast and color registrations.

Hall of Fame and Recognition :

The Winner (Publications) of color quality club of a print site will gain one star for their successful color quality membership, these stars accumulated over the years helps the winners to get in to Elite star Club and Millennium Club who reaches 5+ stars and 10+ stars respectively in their life time .
